Density Gradient Meter (Density Gradient Tube Method) HP14
Overview
Used for high-precision determination of the density of solid polymer materials and rapid comparative interpretation of subtle differences in similar materials. The density gradient column method can measure the density of small and hard samples. For example: flakes, films, small particles, powders, etc. The glass test tube is filled with two easily mixed solutions. The resulting mixed solution has a lower density at the top of the test tube and a higher density at the bottom of the test tube. For a linear ratio change, a precisely calibrated glass float marker of known density is placed inside the gradient column and the glass float is suspended at a point that matches the density of the solution. Place the unknown sample into the gradient column, wait for it to reach equilibrium, record the position of the test sample in the gradient tube relative to the standard float, and calculate the density value of the sample being tested.
Features
1. Injection device: Equipped with peristaltic pump and magnetic stirrer, liquid preparation and injection are convenient and accurate;
2. Automatic cleaning salvage device: The salvage device automatically moves up and down the sample at a constant speed, reducing interference with the gradient liquid, extending the use time of the gradient liquid, and saving measurement costs;
3. External cold water circulation system reduces the requirements for the equipment’s usage environment.
