This instrument is suitable for measuring the effective pore diameter of all types of geotextile products, and its performance meets the requirements of the national standard GB/T14799-2005, "Measurement of effective pore diameter of geotextiles and related products - dry sieving method" JTE-50. Principle: Take the sample of single-layer geotextile and its related products without tension as the sieve, under the specified vibration frequency and amplitude, conduct tests on the sample and graded granular materials to calculate the sieving rate.

The sample is placed on the test platform, with the pressure foot parallel to the platform. A specific pressure is applied to a specific area of the sample. After a specified time, the vertical distance between the two plates is measured and read, which is the measured value of the sample thickness.

1) This instrument adopts lifting form with stepper motor, direct pressurization, automatic synchronization and dial indicator reading. It can be carried out under normal laboratory conditions.
2) The thickness can be measured continuously or one time, and the weighing time can be set to avoid human error in manual measurement.
3) The presser foot transmission device works stably; the distance between the center of the presser foot and the side of the column is large, which can meet the thickness measurement requirements on large pieces of fabric without cutting and sampling separately.
4) The space around the test platform of this instrument is large, so it is not necessary to cut the sample during measurement.
5) This instrument uses a color touch screen for control. The test run only requires one key to complete. The data can be read, queried and printed automatically.
