Leather Testing Equipment

Automatically detect, grip and break a test specimen between the clamping platens. Adopt digital display pressure, instrument will automatically remain maximum burst strength value when sample break. After a test is completed, the test result is shown on the digital display.

Clamp periphery of sample by clamping frame. Then sample is gradually distended by forcing steel metal ball, attached to the end of a plunger, against the center of sample on the reverse side, under the speed of 12mm per minute. When surface of leather get the pressure up to 800N, the distension height is recorded as the cracking value.

Surface treatment of machine body: using American DuPont powder, electrostatic spray painting process, and cured at high temperature 200℃ to ensure long-term colorfastness

This system ensures that the thickness is being measured under the same controlled conditions for each sample. To measure the thickness of any sample, lift the deadweight by operating the lever and insert the material between the anvil and the presser foot. Lower the deadweight using the same lever.

Under specified pressure, the sample is placed on the test surface and clamped to do reciprocating abrasion; Then insert the wool felt in the end of the rubbing head and switch on the tester. After test for specified times, inspect visually the color changing and fading of sample wool felt and discoloration of wool felt. In the case of colour transferring, the wool-felt rubbing pad is evaluated using the grey scale.
