Sample holder

The frame width is 8 mm, and the outer dimensions of the frame are a rectangle of (248  ± 2) mm  × ( 160  ± 2) mm. The center line of the fixing pins forms a rectangle of (240  ± 2) mm  × (80 ± 2) mm. The distance between the fixing pins and the nearest frame vertex is (40  ± 2) mm.

Sampling plate

Made of hard material, with dimensions of (260±2) mm ×(100±2) mm, and with a hole with a diameter of 5 mm at each corner of the sampling plate. The hole position is ( 10±1) mm away from the adjacent right-angled sides, and the center line of the holes forms a rectangle of (240±2) mm ×(80±2) mm.

Tilt height

The pouring height of the molten metal is set to (225±5) mm.
